I always love seeing what you guys responded to most over a year.
2020 was a year of healing for me. Physically. Emotionally. Mentally. Spiritually. It’s not complete, and the turmoil of the year may have made some roadblocks in that path, but I still made strides.
On NYE last year, I could barely walk up my stairs. I was on so many medications, the entire day and the weeks before, were all just a blur.
I didn’t make any goals or resolutions – except that I vowed to spend as much time with my kids as possible, and proclaimed that 2020 would be a year of zero work travel. I canceled all speaking engagements and conferences. And scheduled in as much time at home as possible.
I planned family vacations to reconnect and help my kids process the trauma, committed to being at every baseball game and school play, and signed Kezia up for a weekly mommy and me ballet class since I’d be home bound. Who knew that the year would bring me more family time or rest than I could have ever anticipated or “scheduled”
Thank you all for being here and supporting us over the years, but especially during my hospitalization and big set back last year, and as I navigated and rebuilt this year.
Oh. And for loving Johnny Rose and Moira.
🤣
I caved and decided to play the game that everyone seems to be playing on Instagram of show me that photo! 🤣🤣
It’s been pretty fun taking a walk down memory lane.
Show of hands! 🙋♂️🙋🙋♀️
Who is doing a January Whole30 or some sort of a clean-eating or Paleo reset this month? Ryan and I started our whole30 today! With a couple of minor modifications that work best for us after eating this way for nearly a decade!
I have allllll the resources for you at the link in my bio, including 8️⃣ weeks of meal plans, Whole30 compliant guides for each of my 4️⃣ cookbooks, and hundreds of free recipes on the blog! Hopefully, this takes all of the thinking and guesswork out of your 30 days so that you can enjoy awesome food and do it successfully.
Enjoy!!!
It’s soup season!
Guess what? Ryan doesn’t like soup. 😤 If he did, we’d be eating it for every meal on our Whole30. I don’t know what’s wrong with him 😂
Tap the link in my bio for my top 12 soup recipes (almost all are whole30 compliant!).
All are dairy-free, paleo and grain-free!
I’m going to try to share as many of meals as I remember to snap over on my stories this month!
This is a go-to for me, Whole30 or not. I probably eat it 3 times a week. Details in my stories!
What did you have for lunch today!? Share it in the comments. We all need some inspiration. 😜
